Just some fun tonight, picking random bunches of various types of bulbs from around the garden before the sun sets. I think more than one &#8216;type&#8217; of any genus makes gardening more interesting, since one can study the differences between similar species and hybrids.<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardern.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/corydalis1.jpg?w=640&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">Bulbous Corydalis solida ( which, if you are not growing yet, you must &#8211; for C. solida, which is still relatively unknown by most gardeners, is a great performer in the early spring garden, becoming more beautiful every year as the spread and self seed. Here, are six named crosses from Janis Ruksans in Latvia ( Google him and get his catalog &#8211; no web site).<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardern.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/bunches.jpg?w=640&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardern.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/minidaffs.jpg?w=640&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">Mini Narcissus, the N. cyclamineus in the front is &#8216;Snipe&#8217;, a little costly, but my 5 bulbs have spread into 5 dozen. One even bloomed with a green flares this year&#8230;.not sure if it was the cold, or a seedling.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardern.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/daffy.jpg?w=640&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardern.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/chinod.jpg?w=640&#038;ssl=1\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">Chinodoxa cultivars, the pink form in the middle is starting to fade, but it is much taller than the blue strains, most of which are now self seeding everywhere.
