As I continue to clean up, do dished, throw out wrapping paper a burn off some of the calories, here are a few images from our home from last nights dinner. Plus, a crazy indulgent wreath that I made with some white single camellias that were blooming in the greenhouse. As you can see, I went a little crazy with the chalk, after becoming inspired by the talents of New York artist Dana Tanamachi, something I want to add to this blog starting this week &#8211; blackboard art &#8211; here is my test piece that I created for our family Lithuanian Christmas Eve dinner. I was fretting about what quote to use, first starting with &#8216;Twas the Night Before Christmas&#8217;, but it just felt wrong, so I erased it and wrote &#8216;Tis the night before&#8230;.&#8221;, but it still felt wrong.
