I suppose these tassels are better than the ones inside, if anything, they are longer. (her mother is Margaret&#8217;s sister). We are all adjusting, but Fegus&#8217; nose is bent out of shape. Speaking of animals, here is what else is happening around the garden&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><!-- more --><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"265\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardern.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/baby4.jpg?resize=400%2C265&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"400\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;We are still designing the pheasantry, but here is a peak at a couple of our fancy Asian pheasants. Here, a Yellow Golden Pheasant, just starting to get it&#8217;s adult plumage. In the bright sunlight, he looks like he is on fire.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"266\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardern.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/baby3.jpg?resize=400%2C266&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"400\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;The regular red from of Golden Pheasant, the male is still in his juvenile plumage.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>&#8230;.and remember that hidden nest of duck eggs we found when we returned from Switzerland?<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" height=\"265\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/gardern.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/baby1.jpg?resize=400%2C265&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"400\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Momma duck is very broody, which is a good thing, since this is a breed which rarely has females with good motherly instincts.
