I am a member, but I didn't know all of their history. They also have a nursery area where they sell native plants, including Trailing Arbutus. Honestly I've been pretty impressed with how much awareness of wetland areas and environmental issues there is here in New England compared to other places I've lived. Everywhere, though, so many people sadly just care more about their lawns…

I anonymously reported someone down the street from our office who was filling in a ditch/stream adjacent to the road in order to make more driveway space. It took a couple of months but they had to dig it all out.

I tried to find a similar page for the New England District of the USACE but couldn't so here's a sample of the Galveston District's page and the PDF I submitted. I also took photos and sent them in as well. If you can also pinpoint any kind of connectivity to other adjacent water resources (streams, bogs, wetlands, etc) that would help your case, or review aerial imagery to show historical data.

Do it!

I know you are trying to be neighborly but if everyone ignored people who disobeyed laws what is the point of having the laws? JMHO.
