You can choose to leave the flower scape on all year and allow the berries to form (they all should sprout and new plants are easy to come this way), or you can just remove it. Either way.

I have a Clivia which has bloomed early January because it was in a hot house. I would like to keep it as a house plant I understand that they bloom normally in Spring in England. How long do I leave the dying flower on the plant. Do I just chop it off?

Most yellow clivia here are not that expensive anymore. Only the very special clones that are well know, are costly ( one sells at a nursery here for $700). I do think this one is far nice, since it is large, and a nice plant too. Still, there are so many clivia out in the market, that it is saturated. So we will just enjoy this one. Thanks for commenting!
